Trelaske Holidays in Cornwall offers you 2 different choices for that perfect getaway, staycation or holiday:

  • Waterfall Cottage. A completely self-contained, self-catering, centrally heated, 2-bedroom cottage. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with its own en-suite bathroom with electric power shower, wash hand basin and W/C. Upstairs there is a lounge, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering holiday. It has its own private, south facing patio overlooking rolling fields as far as you can see.
  • Trelaske Manor B&B. There are 2 luxury suites, with double beds and ensuite bathrooms in each. The bathrooms feature shower, wash hand basin & W/C. Upstairs there is a dining room, where a continental and full English breakfast is served each day, included in the cost of the room. The B&B annex has its own front entrance with a door leading out to a south-facing patio at the rear.

Awards

Following extensive refurbishments, we opened Waterfall Cottage in August 2019 and Trelaske Manor B&B in July 2020. Initially, both were listed with both Airbnb & Booking.com and quickly became fully booked, until lockdown restrictions were imposed. Airbnb awarded us Super Host status shortly thereafter and Booking.com awarded us with their Traveller Review Awards 2021. Both awards are based on guest reviews and feedback                                                                        

Local Amenities

Lewannick Village, which is just a 2-minute drive or 10-minute stroll away is a very vibrant local community, with pub, restaurant and well stocked village store and Post Office. In normal times, it features numerous events throughout the year, such as May Day Festival, a weekly cinema projection, summer fairs and dog shows, to name a few.

Launceston, the Capital of Cornwall, is a 10 minute drive away and features several supermarkets, Tesco, Lidl, Iceland, and other national stores, such as M&S Food, Argos, B&M, Pets at Home, etc.

Beaches

There are numerous beaches, the closest within 20 miles. Many are dog friendly outside the summer season, but you need to check first, especially in the summer season.

There are a number of good restaurants and take-aways locally:

  • The Archer Arms, Lewannick (01566 782700). In addition to a full restaurant service, they provide take-aways, available for collection.

  • The Kings Head, Altarnun (01566 86241).
