Trelaske Manor

Trelaske Manor is steeped in history. It was originally the coach house and stables to the Trelaske Estate which is listed in the Doomsday Book. It is first recorded in the time of Richard II (1377-99) and was owned by the Upton family until 1541. It was subsequently owned by the Archer family, hence the name of the Archer Arms, a hostelry in Lewannick, some ½ mile away. The estate has since been divided up into several titles.

It was first converted into a dwelling in the mid 1900’s and the 2 adjoining annexes constructed in about 1980.

Your hosts, Mark & Paula Pearson, bought Trelaske Manor in June 2018. It was in a poor state of repair, having been neglected for some 2 years. Your hosts have painstakingly and lovingly refurbished the property to be able to offer you a comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay.

The Manor House and Cottage is set in 2 ½ acres overlook rolling green fields and guests can enjoy strolls across the unspoilt countryside. Guests have full access to front and rear gardens and the adjoining land that leads down to a quaint waterfall in the south west section. Sheep graze in the field most of the year.
