Highly recommended 5 Star stay. Family of three plus two dogs, we stayed for three days and the cottage was perfect for our needs. It is in a beautiful quiet spot with everything you need. We felt welcomed well before our arrival with good communications from the host and the little touches such as fresh flours and scones cream etc. we’re appreciated. There is a small shop in the village that sells various things, I would recommend Launceston if you need to do a larger shop, approx 10 minutes away. Within the local village there is also a nice pub that offers a good selection of meals.

Waterfall Cottage is a beautifully decorated place in an amazing rural location. Everything we needed was there and there was a welcome pack of scones, clotted cream and jam. Mark and Paula were just what we wanted. They left us alone but responded quickly, if we had any questions. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a break away from it all!

Lovely spot for a break, hosts were there if needed and greeted us on arrival and made sure to come and say goodbye when leaving. We were even given scones, milk, coffee and tea which was a nice added touch. Thank you

Great find. Lovely cottage and we also stayed in the B&B as well. Great house and views and were made to feel at home. The village is really nice and it is a great location for exploring the north and south coast as it is close to the A30.

A thoroughly good AirBNB host and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. The hosts were very warm and responsive throughout our stay and provided a very tasty scone for our welcome. The guide to the area provided was very helpful, and the Archers Arms (15-20min walk) was a fantastically solid pub that provides very tasty pub food with fantastic chips (I am not the sort of person to offer this statement with ease, but they were in my top 3 chips of all time). Safety and cleaning regarding C-19 was above average for what I have experienced at other AirBNBs recently. The area was really quiet, with fantastic views from the double bedroom across the fields and valley. You do, have quick access to the A30 for deeper exploration into Cornwall which is favourable.

We had a great 4 night stay at Waterfall Cottage. Great comms before our visit and a call on our arrival day to say we could check in a little earlier if we liked. The cottage was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Beautiful views across fields and lovely to be able to stroll down to the waterfall. The cream tea on arrival was delicious. A great location in which to base ourselves for exploring north and south coasts. Great hosts and a relaxing stay with everything we needed

Beautifully decorated & everything catered for (even Sky movies for a rainy day) Local to A30 so easy to travel around Cornwall. Lots of local walks, village 15mins walking distance. Very dog friendly, our dog enjoyed playing with Poppy next door! Mark & Paula are lovely hosts & happy to help when you require it. Waterfall down the end of the field is a treat too!

We all had a wonderful time and couldn’t have been happier with the place. Sparkling clean, thoughtful touches (like the scones, basket of cereals/tea/etc), and very friendly and helpful hosts. Great view out the back of the field with the sheep. Great place for a family with two dogs. Especially grateful for the extra care taken with cleaning given current Covid circumstances.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Felt happy with all the measures taken to ensure all COVID precautions were met. Accommodation comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice and quiet and lovely to sit and watch the numerous different birds flying around while relaxing on the patio. Would highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable short break. The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The fresh flowers, cream tea and breakfast provisions were lovely touches. We were made to feel very at home and it was a pleasure to meet our hosts. We would recommend a stay here.

A fantastic first class holiday let. The cottage was Absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely finishing touches Such as fresh flowers, homemade scones, all cleaning products provided, could not fault it! Beautiful views of the country and so peaceful. If your looking for a stylish place to stay, centrally located with easy access to North & South Cornwall, then this is the place. Such a lovely place with beautiful scenery around it, great accommodation and fantastic hosts. We were truly blown away by the place. The cottage is a lovely quirky design with the two large bedrooms downstairs & the kitchen/ living room upstairs. The place is spotlessly clean and Mark & Paula have reassuringly, taken extra precautions due to covid-19. There is a large patio area at the back with table & chairs where you can sit & enjoy the wonderful scenery. The upstairs living room is very comfortable and well lit with large windows and an overhead skylight, and the kitchen is well equipped. The cottage has been very well renovated within the last couple of years, so everything is a modern design with a lot of touches to give it a homey feel. No issues with car parking or finding the cottage – Mark sends a very comprehensive set of directions. The local village is about a 30 min walk, has a nice friendly pub and a small shop. Finally our hosts – Mark and Paula were absolutely fantastic, very friendly, lots of good advice and a joy to meet. They’ve obviously put their heart & soul into renovating the cottage & you can tell from all the extra touches they’ve added. Highly recommended & we’re definitely going back

What a beautiful place! A cream tea, (scones, jam & clotted cream) as well as some cereal, tea, coffee and milk were left in the kitchen for us on our arrival which was really lovely. The cottage was sparkling clean and the surrounding area was beautiful too, including large lawns which we had use of.
